Bill was a tough boss. He held everyone to the same standards he set for himself. Would never ask or expect you to do anything he wouldn’t do himself. He was fair. Never held a mistake against you. I worked for him when he outranked me and with him when we were both captains. He was the real deal! I miss him. RIP Chief aka “The WA”

I hope everyone can find comfort in Revelation 21:4 where it says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Until we see him again in Paradise, please accept my condolences.

I worked for Bill Allee when he was my Lieutenant in Man South Narcotics Division. He was one of the toughest bosses I ever worked for. He ran his Team like a well oiled machine. His non traditional ways created one of the best groups of men I have ever worked with. We learned from the best. He was a cop's cop and a man's man. He ran us in a manner that was "us against him" and kept us all very tight. In reality It was all of us together against everyone else with he as out Pack Leader. We never got hurt. We never got jammed up. We always came home as a Team together. It was hard to understand his thinking at the time as a young narcotics investigator, but as an old retired Detective and working with other Units, I realized his way was best.

Bill Allee a legend . Many loved him. Many hated him. All respected him !
I know he is making the Lord above crazy now, investigating the bad guys in hell.
He influenced my policing and I will ever forget him...

May God rest his soul and he forever rest in peace.
