Members of the Westerville, Ohio Division of Police understand this pain. Our staff asks that everyone offer condolences and share this link. The Morelli, Joering and our Police families received love and support from all over the world when Tony and Eric were killed in the line of duty. That provided strength during that tragic time.

We ask that everyone send that same level of love and support to the immediate family of Deputy Sheriff Ryan Zirkle and the extended law enforcement family of the Marin County Sheriff's Office, California.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your memory.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

Another great loss. It is terrifying how many officers have already lost their lives in 2018. Everyday it's shootings, car chases, car accidents, stabbing, etc. It's horrible for anyone who has family involved in L.E.O. I know that we could all walk outside and have something to us, but with these heroes who walk the beat everyday to protect all of us have a far greater chance of leaving us and not returning due to something that is out of there hands. Their families are suffering the greatest losses. How many children are left with no mother or father. How many spouses go to bed at night with a boulder in their gut because their spouse is out there dealing with Goodness knows what. Let's bring awareness to the things these men and women do everyday, awareness of what their family is left with if they don't come back. They need to be admired and honored for the job they do from day to day. Not just if they have had to leave us behind.. God Bless Marshall Chris Di Gerolamo and keep him safe in your arms until his family joins him. Please pray for his family, friends and brothers and sisters in blue.
