God, filled with mercy, dwelling in the heavens' heights,
bring proper rest beneath the wings of your Lord,
amid the ranks of the holy and the pure,
illuminating like the brilliance of the skies the soul of Chris Lawton who went to his eternal place of rest.
May You who are the source of mercy shelter him beneath Your wings eternally,
and bind his soul among the living, that he may rest in peace. And let us say: Amen.

Sir rest in peace. Like many First Responders it sounds like you loved the citizens of your city. This is evidenced buy you serving as a firefighter and as a reserve police officer. It takes a special call to do this and you will be rewarded at the gates for doing so. Take comfort in knowing that you did well as you are accepted did the arms of a loving Lord and savior.

When a Sheepdog, a man or woman who lives daily willing to sacrifice their life in order to protect or rescue or serve someone else, we are bonded to that person and they to us by way of calling whether knowing each other or not. And this warrior did it for FREE as an unpaid reserve!

Our God is a Mighty WARRIOR! Jesus was depicted on earth with the nature of a Lamb and a Lion! As a Lamb He was gentle, meek and drew people into Himself.

As a Lion, he was ferocious! When he “roared” all of heaven and earth took note. Just like when the Lion roars in the wild. The entire animal kingdom takes note and immediately defers in respect to the power and authority of the Lion.

Let’s join together and seek the Lord while he may be found (Isaiah 55:6) and ask Him to roar and place evil on notice. He commands everything. The number of warrior angels in His army is Limitless! Let’s ask Him to deploy legions of warring angels to cover every LEO, public servant, soldier, etc. on every shift they serve. That angels would be present in cars, protecting as they’re walking up and protecting as they respond to calls and that every presence of evil and would-be harm would shutter in fear and be driven back by this.

I believe we can turn away this attack that has been launched against [us] our brothers and sisters serving. Set aside time every day and let’s move our Lords heart with compassion and see Him respond mightily in this!
