Officer Casillas,

You made the ultimate sacrifice just 6 months into your career. You counted the cost and left your family at home to protect mine. I have a sister and brother in law who live in Pomona. I can't express to you hat your service means to me and to others across this nation. You were a sheepdog and may you never be forgotten and remembered a hero. My prayers go out to your wife and children.

Officer Casillas wasn't only doing his job, but also doing what he knew was the right thing to do. Even though he was only 6 months in, he was part of a big family and part of everybody's life in law enforcement. His sacrifice for protecting the community well not go unnoticed. My deepest condolences to Officer Casillas' family, to the family I say this: He was a great man because Officer Casillas made it this far in life and became what he always wanted to be, a police officer. Officer Casillas' family is not alone in this, Officer Casillas and his family are and always will be part of a big law enforcement family, a family that cares and if the family needs help, his law enforcement family is there to help no matter what. Rest In Peace Officer Casillas, you well not be forgotten.
