Casillas and his partners are gods gifts to the world. It is unacceptable that great hero's that lose there lives and health to protect the public from the seemingly endless violent crimnals that allowed to have endless chances then they should, feed and clothed on the public dime. My deeps condolences to the family, freinds, fellow officers and honest cop suppprtimg citizens.

RIP MY BROTHER

Police Officer Maria Alvarez
NYPD

March 10, 2018

I grew up in the area (Chino, Pomona, Upland, etc) before moving to Arkansas as a teen, so I still have a strong connection here. I remember my first D.A.R.E. Officer, Ofc. Polahonka (Chino PD) in 6th grade and wanting to do something great like that. So now I’m retired, some 30 years later from one our local agencies, and all I want to do is cry for you brother, for our other brothers and sisters, your family, and the community. The next time I’m out visiting family and we go to the park, I’ll stop by the PD and thank you. For now, I can only thank you in a very impersonal way and say that I hope you’re resting easy now. You are never forgotten.
