An Auxiliary Police Officer is special in that, most often, they will work under the same conditions with the same risks as a regular Officer, yet, for free or limited pay and often, no benefits. They do it for various reasons but usually because the Law Enforcement field interests them, they want to make an inroad into the job and/or, they want to help contribute to their community.

You did your job and you are a hero, Officer Bloom. Thank you.
