Even 4 (nearing 5) years after your passing, your memory still lives on within the SCSO and the World! My dad has told me many stories about your time with him at the S.O. and I am upset that I never had the chance to meet you. However, everyone who did was very lucky to have you in their life. We will never forget your service and sacrifice.
Rest in peace, Brother.

Depity Bowlin was truly a great man. I will always remember him for the late night conversations at the fire department when he would stop by while on patrol and run radar.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Officer Bowlin was a “brother” to me, I was one of his dispatchers and was there that horrible night. Officer Bowlin faced this with the up most of integrity. His sons and especially his loving wife stayed by his side until the end. I miss you Robert and am so proud you FINALLY are receiving the respect you deserve for serving.
