We are so sorry for your loss. We know there are no words that will truly comfort you. You will never be able to mend your damaged hearts, but you will learn to live with the pain. Deputy Sheriff Stanton is with the angels watching from above. We will pray for him as we pray for our son, Officer Eric DeWit, who also died in the line of duty on February 17, 2003.
