The Sheriffs of Florida and their deputies will never forget the sacrifice you and your family made to uphold our laws and protect society.

Your name has been inscribed on the Florida Sheriffs and the National Law Enforcement Memorial and in our hearts. May you forever rest in peace.

A scripture inscribed on the Florida Sheriffs Law Enforcement Memorial:

On that date I was riding in a car to my birthday party when a driver began to try to push us over because they wanted to change lanes. The driver of our car was inexperienced and began to panic. Suddenly there was a police cruiser lighting up the other driver and they stopped their actions. The officer quickly pulled them over and we pulled over too, shaken but safe. We gave our statements and a video of the incident, said thank you and went on our way. It was only that officer's arrival that saved us from serious injury or death.
On that day you too were patrolling the highway to protect other citizens and you paid the ultimate price for your dedication. My friends and I just saw this posting and will say a short prayer for you and your family every Sunday.

I hope that everyone can find comfort in Revelation 21:4 where it says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Until we see him again in Paradise, please accept my condolences.

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Kevin was killed in the line of duty.

To the Stanton family, fellow deputies , and all who call Kevin beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace. I hope that your family knows that a nation mourned for you.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Kevin gave to his community and the citizens of Florida and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on February 17th, 2018.

Deepest condolences to Family, Department and Friends. Visit the web site ImagineHeaven.net for a glimpse of the Glorious Reunions awaiting. All law enforcement men and women indeed qualify as "Foxhole Christians" with their duty dangers. As Ray Comfort at LivingWater.com says "Passing is the doormat they wipe their feet on before entering Heaven.” It is our belief they will hear from the Lord Himself. “Do not fear. for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom” (Luke 12:12).
