I have served with the Connellsville Police Auxiliary for four years now and I never knew that we lost a fellow officer in the line of duty. Officer Howard Layton, thank you for your service and going beyond the call. You will never be forgotten brother in blue.

The Auxiliary Police Officer is rarely recognized as a Police Officer, as a former Auxiliary, I know this. However, on this site, all Police Officers are equal and I thank the administrators and God for this.
Officer Layton, thank you for your service. You went above and beyond and I pray that your descendants have full knowledge of your heroism and sacrifice for your community.
God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.
