Reflections for Sergeant Linus A. Shaw
Sergeant Shaw, it has been 114 years since you were taken from us. New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your 32 years of law enforcement service.

Sgt. Shaw, it's been 112 years since your passing and 130 since the incident that brought about your death. I will never get over how tough you must have been to have been stabbed yet completed the arrest; then to live an additional 18 years. I hold you in high regard and I thank you for your service to the citizens of Watertown and the Union.
God Bless you, Brother and may your continued rest remain ever peaceful.
