Hi Trooper O'Neill,

So today marks your 4th EOW. I never got the chance to meet you but have gotten to know you a bit through your fiancee, Carli. I think you would be happy to know she is doing pretty good. She is a member of a support group I started to offer support to the spouses and fiancees of fallen officers, regardless of COD and she joined pretty early on. She doesn't post very much as she is out living her life.

When it is the EOW of any of our members Heroes, I write up a memorial on your law enforcement service as well as your time together with your spouse or fiancee. It is your partner that shares this intimate information with me and then I sometimes do a little extra digging to get some more information and photos on your service that maybe they didn't have (which they always love to find new info and pictures). I'm the wife of a long-ago Detective and I may have learned a few things. So I just finished writing up yours. Actually I have written yours several times over but every year I try to add something a little new. This memorial is only shared in our support group, among our many members, unless the member chooses to share it publicly and then I give it to him or her. It is my privilege to be able to do this small thing for the families and for you as well.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice, today, the anniversary of your 4th EOW. May your family be well and find some peace. Rest with the Angels, Timothy.

I hope everyone will find comfort in Acts 24:15 - "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." Until we see our loved ones again on an earthly Paradise, please accept my condolences.
