Dearest Heddy,
You were one of the first officers I met my first day almost 12 years ago. You were always kind and cheerful. You always said hello at the beginning of our shift and goodbye at the end. I'm so glad I got to see and talk with you just a few days before God called you home. You always greeted me with a smile and a friendly embrace. Rest in peace old friend. You will be missed.

My prayers are with Officer Heddy and his wife, children, and grandchildren. Officer Heddy is fine he is with our Heavenly Father, his family is the ones who need our prayers now. I pray that buddy's at work will follow the family & keep them all close. Be helpful to his widow, there are all kinds of forms, his estate to settle. I pray that his friends will help her with all of that. Officer Heddy thank you for your service. My nephew is a Corrections Officer I know it's not an easy job.

Officer Heddy was a very kind and compassionate person. He was always the same when he came to work. He was always ready to work when he got there. He was always fair but firm with the inmates and he treated his fellow officers with much respect. I've never seen him angry and always kept a smile on his face. I will miss you Heddy. Rest in Peace until we meet again.

A true friend to of mine. Ran a good unit, firm and fair. One of the most subject matter knowledgeable officers I've ever met. Just a great person to sit down and have a great conversation with. Would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He is truly missed and the profession and world lost a good one. My prayers and thoughts go out to Joe and his family. Rest In Peace brother. We'll take it from here.

Standing at attention in their class “A “uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us.
I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
