Jose T. Garza Sr. was my Great Grand Father. Jose T. Garza was my Grand Father. My Mother, Lydia R. Garza Grand Daughter to Jose T. Garza SR. just recently passed on 16 Jan.2023. She would tell me the story of this awful day.

Jose Tomas Garza Sr. left behind a young widow and baby boy, Jose Tomas Jr. His young widow later remarried and had two more sons. One of them is my father. Jose Tomas Jr. was my father's older half brother. I grew up knowing him as my uncle, Jose "Pepito" Garza. He was a good man and well liked by all. His father would have been proud of him. May they both rest in peace.
