A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Virginia State Police. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace!

May God watch over the Family and Fellow Officers that put their lives on the line for us everyday. We all lose when one of these heroes fall. And this one was a terrible loss. A man who without care for his own safety did such a noble thing. I hope his family will find some type of peace during this time of mourning. God will not let them down. Keep Faith and know he is in a better place.

Mike, I was shocked and saddened to hear about this. I will always remember our talks about Pittsgrove, Schalick, police work and family when we were both passing time waiting for our trials to start, or catching up when we saw each other. I'm sorry bro, you will be remembered. We will keep on the fight in your name!!!
