A Prayer for Lieutenant Kevin Mainhart:
Lord God of mercy, peace, and love, we remember before Your throne in this moment our Brother-in-Blue, Lieutenant Kevin Mainhart, of the Yell County, Arkansas Sheriff’s Department, who sacrificed his life in the Line-of-Duty. We recall with gratitude and respect all that he stood for in this life. Help us to live in the companionship of his spirit. May we be kind to the family, friends, and colleagues he loved; devoted to the county and state in which he served; and loyal to the causes which he championed in law enforcement. Thus, in our life, may he live on, to our great comfort, to the betterment of Your creation, and to the furthering of Your most Holy Will. Amen.

To the family, coworkers, friends of Lt. Kevin Mainhart....
I send my sincere condolences. In today's times when so many lost individuals are against the police, many of us appreciate all they do and sacrifice. It goes beyond the police officer...into his family...that the real sacrifice is seen.
I did not live in Yell county...but I live in Arkansas. As an Arkansan the roots are deep...and we consider one another family. No matter the race or religion....we are proud to be living in Arkansas! It is today, that I am not proud for the person who apparently is sick, lost and doesn't realize that lives matter!
We sometimes experience tragedies in our lives....some at the hands of others, some by accident, and some by illness. I have experienced loss with each one of these. I know the pain...but GOD can heal those hurts, those pains, those mourning's of times lost.
Know many of us are praying for you and if you should need any thing....reach out to your fellow Arkansans. We care.
I am so sorry you are going thru this time...I will share these bible verses that were a comfort to me when we lost many of my family and friends.
Ecclesiastes 3King James Version (KJV)
3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

May God watch over the Family and Fellow Officers that put their lives on the line for us everyday. We all lose when one of these heroes fall. And this one was a terrible loss. A man who without care for his own safety did such a noble thing. I hope his family will find some type of peace during this time of mourning. God will not let them down. Keep Faith and know he is in a better place.

So very sorry for Lt. Mainhart's Family and fellow Officers, and to the family of the slain innocents. As a son and grandson of Philly PD Officers, I know domestics are the most dangerous of calls. My prayers for all involved.
Rest in Peace Lt. Kevin Mainhart.
