I am preparing a memorial service for a Los Angeles Police Officer who was killed in the line of duty on May 13, 1968. As I prepared the memorial service I noted that the last Law enforcement Officer KIA was Deputy Justin Beard from Louisiana, on April 30th. I went off the site for an hour. When I went back to the website your name had already appeared. It seems that so many of us are taken so quickly nowadays. Thank you for your service to your County and to our Nation. I am so saddened by your death and for the sacrifice that your family is going through right now. I pray for the speedy recovery of the other Deputy May your Memory be Eternal
