My memories of you dad are nothing other than looking at you in your casket. Mom said shhhh daddy is sleeping right now. I believed her. I never saw you again or heard your voice again or felt your touch again. Sometimes life is not very fair and I can’t explain why I don’t have you anymore ❤️

I, Debra Lynn Webb was 5 1/2 months old when my father, Charles R. Oglesby died. I never new my father but whenever he was spoken about, it was nothing but the best words out of anyone's mouth. Never heard of anything bad. Many times I sat at his graveside, telling him my life of growing up. I am very proud of him in his short life.
Love you Dad.

We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 63rd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
