David justice was not done my friend and I am saddened that some of the jury held out for death for this monster that willingly took your life from those who knew you and served with you in the Army and as a LEO

I read about this tragedy when it happened over two years ago...my heart goes out to Deputy Wade's widow and three children. Personally I wish the jury would have given this piece of trash the death penalty - he deserves nothing less!

May God watch over the Family and Fellow Officers that put their lives on the line for us everyday. We all lose when one of these heroes fall. And this one was a terrible loss. A man who without care for his own safety did such a noble thing. I hope his family will find some type of peace during this time of mourning. God will not let them down. Keep Faith and know he is in a better place.

Greetings:
While I'm sure you don't know me, I feel compelled to leave this message. Once I saw this incident I was shocked! Deputy Wade was the 1st responding officer during a major traffic accident. A severely intoxicated woman hit our car. We did 360 spin, in the air, hit another car and a pole. Our 8yr old daughter took the impact rendering her lifeless. Deputy Wade came to my husband as he was performing CPR on my little girl. Fortunately my husband was able to revive her. When paramedics arrived and placed both of girls in a helicopter, Deputy Wade stayed with me. He was a godsend and did all he could to assist my family. I'll always remember that night and Deputy Wade.

Coming from a line of family in the justice system, we all share your loss. Our utmost respect, to your family. Hopefully you'll find comfort knowing that Deputy Wade's watch ended here in a physical capacity, but he will forever be watching and protecting your family from above.

We all wish you well and thank you for sharing his life with us. Just know that I'll never forget what Deputy Wade did the that day. May he rest in peace and may your family be comforted during this tough time.

Deepest condolences,
Tawnya M

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when David was killed.

To the Wade family, fellow deputies, and all who call David beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace. I hope that your family knows that a nation mourned for you.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Deputy Wade gave to his community and the citizens of Oklahoma , and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on April 18, 2017.

Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray Psalm 91 over all LEO’s and this prayer also:

“Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are Your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, loving family, friends, neighbors and caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name and for Your Glory, Amen.”

Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.

I have lifted your family to God every morning for over six years. I pray that David's life and death will bring glory to His name.

Trust those prayers. God is with you; He knows and will ease your pain.
