It is hard to believe that you have been gone for so over two years. Things have changed so much. I occasionally scroll past your name and number in my phone and am flooded with your memory. Rest in Peace, brother. Until we meet again. You are a hero.

I hope that everyone will find comfort in the scripture Acts 24:15-"And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous andAnd I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection+ of both the righteous and the unrighteous the unrighteous." Until we see our loved ones again in Paradise on Earth, please accept my condolences.

Sarge

It's hard to believe it's been four months since your crash. Hard to believe your gone.

Wasn't all that long ago it seems when you last came over roadside and shot the breeze with me, reminiscing over the good times in McDonald County, when it seemed like a simpler time in a different place, and the new and interesting in Barry County.

I always felt proud, when you came over, that the 17 year old tag along became a law enforcement officer in his own right, and to work along side his mentors, just was incredible for me.

Hope your doing well in paradise Sarge, your truly missed.

Carl, I remember talking to you in my driveway with my father when I was 3 or 4 years old and all the frequent visits you have made to my house. My father told stories of the calls you guys answered together. You've made a huge impact on my life as well as many other LEO's in McDonald County. Rest in Peace brother.

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Carl was killed.

To the Cosper family, fellow officers, and all who call Carl beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace. I hope that your family knows that a nation mourned for you.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Master Sgt. Cosper gave to his community and the citizens of Missouri , and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on April 7, 2017.
