Reflections for Squadman Edward B. Retzer

EB Retzer was my grandfather. He passed the day before my first birthday. I have 1 photo of him along with myself. I wish I could have known him more. Thank you Gramps, for all you did for the city of Superior.

This was my Grandfather that I never got to know. He died 1 day before my first Birthday. On my birthday we were traveling from Maine across Canada back to Superior for his services.

We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 54th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
