Officer Terney, thank you for your service. I am grateful that, though it didn't save your life, your shooting the suspect may have save many others.

Fear of justice no longer exists, the nation now feels that if/when the police stop you, you have no obligation to cooperate and in fact, each and everyone is above the law and no police officer has the right or the authority to do anything about it. This attitude has been responsible for the deaths of far too many of our Sisters and Brothers in the past few years and it may only get worse. You are the latest to make the sacrifice and we mourn and we honor you here.

God Bless you, Brother and may your eternal rest be ever peaceful. I know in my heart you will never be far from those you love and who love you in return.
