Reflections for Patrolman Justin Michael Terney
May God watch over the Family and Fellow Officers that put their lives on the line for us everyday. We all lose when one of these heroes fall. And this one was a terrible loss. A man who without care for his own safety did such a noble thing. I hope his family will find some type of peace during this time of mourning. God will not let them down. Keep Faith and know he is in a better place.

I am a Mother with adult children and my heart breaks for yours. I wore the uniform and my heart breaks for your Department. A simple traffic stop. What has happened to our society that it has now turned into one with no respect for the laws of the land? An Officer is the representative of those laws, and to take an Officer's life is a complete rejection of all societal laws. Rest now in Peace, hon. You did your job, and did it well. "Rest easy, we've got it from here."

Rest in Peace my Brother. Your time in service was short but honorable and you displayed courage and the never quit attitude that makes a hero. You were fatally wounded but never gave up or gave in and because of that you were able to shoot and wound your killer many times which led to his apprehension. Sad that we lost you so soon because I see what great things you could have accomplished. God Bless your family and friends to help them get through this tragic loss.
