God, filled with mercy, dwelling in the heavens' heights,
bring proper rest beneath the wings of your Lord,
amid the ranks of the holy and the pure,
illuminating like the brilliance of the skies the soul of Norman Lewis
who went to his eternal place of rest.
May You who are the source of mercy shelter him beneath Your wings eternally,
and bind his soul among the living, that he may rest in peace. And let us say: Amen.

Big Norm,

You were such a good friend to me. My naturally negative and overly intense personality was brought down by your silliness and your joy. You were easy to talk to and easy to love. You never knew a stranger, and people would recognize you with a smile on their face wherever you would go.

In a world full of darkness you brought joy and safety, not only because of your size but because of your innate nature to protect the helpless and those you considered "fam."

I hate that your life ended this way, yet your died doing something you loved. Not many people can say that.

Proud of you. Glad I can say you were dear to me, even though you made fun of my music ALL THE TIME. Much love Big Man!!!
