Rest in peace.

I often wear a commemoration shirt with your name on it, young Warrior. Even without knowing you I am inspired by your dedication to serve and protect the good people of Pennsylvania and at the same time broken hearted for you and your family. I pray Gods grace protects and comforts them . You will never be forgotten by me or my family. Blessed are the brave of heart, for they shall be called the peace makers. God bless the long, gray line of the PSP.

Landon I worked with you as my manager in Indiana. You helped me with a very difficult situation. You were the only one I felt that I could approach to talk about it. You handled this difficult situation with a cool head, compassion and strength which I dont think anyone else would have done. YOU were the one that I completely trusted with it. Thank you with all of my heart. I remember you telling me when you got in to Police Academy and how excited you were. You said it was your dream for all of your life. I knew you would make. I'm so very sorry your dreams and life were cut so short by basically insanity. I will always have total respect for you and will miss you and remember you and how great a man you were. Rest easy my friend.

My heart hurts for Tpr. Weaver's young wife and best friend Macy. You should be so proud of the man and Trooper that Landon was. The bravery that you showed in speaking at the service is something that I'll never forget. Until we me at that final roll call, thank you Landon.

The service for Trooper Landon Eugen Weaver that cold January day was nothing short of stunning and gut twisting at the same time. Trooper Weaver's brave wife of only a tragically short time, presented a eulogy that left only the hardest of harts with dry eyes.
Trooper Weaver, the Citizens of the Commonwealth are forever in your debt. You will be remembered.

A portion of a letter written by President Abraham Lincoln, printed in the Boston Evening Transcript on November 25, 1864.
“I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save.
I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,
Abraham Lincoln”
