Members of my family have either served or are now serving the PSP. My heart breaks for this young man and his family & co-workers. Thanking someone for their services doesn't seem adequate when they are risking life and limb for our safety. May he rest in peace.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Pennsylvania State Police. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

I know your heartache.
Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray:
“Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are Your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, loving family, friends, neighbors and caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name and for Your Glory, Amen.”
Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.
I have lifted your family to God every morning for over five years. I pray that Landon's life and death will bring glory to His name.
Feel those prayers. God is with you; He knows and will ease your pain.

Through your service and sacrifice you kept the faith of the profession and reports indicate that your fellow brother and sister officers maintained fidelity to the pledge that "No one wounds us with impunity!" and that their relentless search for your assassin ended with his death early today. God bless you Trooper Landon Weaver, and may you rest in peace.

To lose such a dedicated young man just starting out is heartbreaking as all loses are. I feel like our profession has lost a child, a child of God doing the right thing by protecting those who can't protect themselves.
His loss is not in vain as those that continue to protect learn and are reminded of the dangers of seemingly routine calls. May God Bless Trooper Landon E. Weaver and his family and wife. May God give you some comfort in knowing Trooper Landon was not lost in vain.
I'm so sorry for your loss and the loss of the citizens of your community that he bravely served. WE WILL NEVER FORGET
