Thoughts and prayers for PSO Jody Smith's Family, Friends, fellow officers and the Georgia Southwestern State University community.
Both officers involved in this tragedy have worked their final earthly Watch and were transferred straight to their new Duty Assignment as LEO whose lights shine down and guide the steps of First Responders as they answer calls for help and go even where Angels FEAR to Tree.
And when it's our time to make our way to Heaven Officers Smarr and Smith and all Fallen Heroes shine their lights on the pathway to Heaven so Family, Friends and fellow First Responders can easily make their way home.

It will be a very sad Christmas for the family of Georgia Southwestern University Police Officer Jody Smith as he has died from his wounds from the shooting of a fellow officer yesterday. The family of this officer along with the staff and faculty will be in mourning for a while. This is a very tough time for all who are involved law enforcement. It will be a sad Christmas indeed the two families of the two slain police officers as they mourn the losses of two brave young officers who died almost three weeks before Christmas.
