Reflections for Patrolman Scott Leslie Bashioum
Scott, you were a very good cousin while I was growing up. I am proud that you served your community as I did as a veteran. You call to public service was admirable. You will be missed as I always appreciated your personality.

We are heartbroken here at the academy at CCBC. Scott is the first officer taken from us in the line of duty since I took over the academy 15 years ago. He was a wonderful guy and loved being a police officer. We kept up every year at in-service training. Thoughts and prayers are with him and his family from everyone here at the academy.

To every Fallen Law Enforcement Officer who has made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the citizens of their community. You are not forgotten.
In Remembrance of:
Officer Scott Leslie Bashioum
You answered the call,
and was first to arrive,
always last to go home,
serving your community day and night.
On the next Sunrise,
you put your badge on again,
no questions asked;
"Just serving my friends."
You forever kept your oath to serve and protect, hand raised; your badge pinned over your heart. Even now, your oath to God will never depart.
While your days on this earth were not in vain;
you made a difference in so many lives, and that will never change.
Regardless of the season, your community always has a reason to say 'thank you.'
It is true, Mr. Scott Leslie Bashioum honored his oath, his badge, his service, and his community through and through.
A Tribute to every Fallen, but never forgotten Law Enforcement Officer.

Rest in peace Patrolman Scott Bashioum, you will always remain in our prayers. We saw you working tirelessly to make society a better place but that was no to be. With tearful eyes we sadly saw your loving and selfless heart stop beating. Even though your sudden and untimely early death tearfully breaks our hearts, it proves to us God's desire to take for himself one of his and our very best.

I heard a Siren for the first time today
What made it different were my thoughts have changed
Over my life it was always the same, someone had an accident, committed a crime, or needed help in someway
It’s as if my eyes were opened, as I heard them say
“The man in blue died today.”
I heard a Siren for the first time today
Never will I hear it, in quite the same way
For when the sound pierces the air
My attention turns to offer a prayer
To protect the man answering a plea
From another asking, “Please come to me.”
My thoughts are for his safety, and family I pray.
I heard a Siren for the first time today.
I'm sorry you did not make it home safely Officer Bashioum I pray for you, your family, your friends and for your brothers in blue.
R.I.P. may God hold you close and keep watch over your family.

My condolences to the family of Police Officer Scott Leslie Bashioum. Losing someone so close to us is very difficult. May all who are touched from this loss read the promise that Jesus gave to us at John 5:28,29 where he said that there would be a resurrection. Just imagine the time when you will see your loved ones again, in paradise conditions, here on earth. What a joy it will be to experience this promise.
