Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

I miss that "Stuewer here" when I would call your phone. I miss your voice on the radio and our long talks about history and everything else under the sun. You were a hell of a Trooper and a good friend. Rest In Peace, 3416.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for solace and strength for everyone who misses and loves Paul . We will never forget the sacrifice made by each of the 9/11 heroes and their families.

Thank you so much Investigator Stuewer for your assistance on that awful day that took so many lives. And on the other hand a day that many lives were saved because of heroes like yourself. Your life along with many others that assisted on that day has been cut short and thats a terrible thing. I dont think that any of you that have passed due to this day would change anything that you all did on 9/11. May you watch over all of your family and friends from above and let your Brothers and Sisters take it from here.

To Mrs. Paul Stuewer, my deepest condolences to you, and my prayers for your mental and physical health. Additionally, I will say a prayer for all six of your children, and I will say a prayer for Paul's mother and father asking our Lord to comfort you and your entire family with peace in your individual hearts. I will pray and ask God to show each member of your family that Paul is now in Heaven and watching over his family.
