I didn't know you and never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I do know your father very well. You are among the angels now, looking down on all of us. Your work here is done, and we will take it from here. Rest in Peace Lesley, stay close to your loved ones, especially your daughter. The evil in this world will pay the price one day. Thank you for everything you did and I am so sorry that you had to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.
Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray, “Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, family and loving, caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name, Amen”
I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for the past four years. Feel those prayers. God is with you, He knows and will ease your pain.
Faith helps us see beyond the grave.

Please give me understanding with both the young and old. let me llisten with attention until there story's told. Let me never make a judgment in a rush or callous way. A real hero taken far too soon.
Your husband will, I'm sure, tell your child all about you. You are a hero to all of those of us who proudly wear our bands of black and blue, to your family, to your friends, and to those of, in, and around your community, that
"You lived you're life, just as you died, brave, courageous, and there's so much more to describe your selflessness, and I'm sure over the years your husband will describe you in wonderful detail. Hero will always rank at the top of the list."
My condolences to the department and your family. I wish them peace and swift justice.
