I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,
Abraham Lincoln

Brother, you work in an area of Law Enforcement that not all understand. But the bottom line, you are a cop. That's the most important thing and your life was taken while doing the job. Though we acknowledge your service after your death, we all should realize it was the work you did before this sacrifice that really matters.
God Bless you, Brother and may your eternal rest be ever peaceful.

As a retired Peace Officer from CA, now living in New Mexico, it saddens me to hear of Officer Frank's passing. I have a special affinity toward Native Americans, having grown up on the Wind River Indian Reservation. My sympathies go to his extended family and the Navajo Nation. It was the ultimate sacrifice, he gave to our country. With many blessings...
