Reflections for Officer Joseph Brodnik

I was one of the jurors at this trial back in 1970, and have never
forgotten this case. These young hoodlams were as guilty as sin for your
death and we could not get all the jurors to agree on their guilt. They
were re-tried and some went to prison. I understand a couple have been
killed in prison and can only say that partial justice was reached. If I live
to be 100 I will never forget this case nor the wrong verdict. I hope your
family has found peace.

Thank you Officer Brodnik for your service and your sacrifice. My family knew your family in the Eureka Valley. My sister was in your daughter's eigth grade class. I was barley one year old when you were taken. I grew up hearing of your heroism. You are not forgotten.
