Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Stacey Allen Baumgartner

I miss my dad so much to the point i want to cry every day because of what happened and i just want him to come back, but i know he can't,it gets more hard every day because he is not here anymore, and sometimes i don't understand why garret nee had to do that, and go to jail, but at the same time i understand why he had to go to jail, but my dad was the nicest guy i ever knew and my mom tells me these story of when he was on patrol and he was so nice the people that he pulled over.I remember when i was little me and my dad used to play with hot weels, and go outside and he would teach me how to ride a bike, and every time he had to leave for work i would try to stall him so he didn't have to leave to go to work, but if he was here right now i would hug him so tight and not let go.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Praying for the family and friends.
RIP Stacey.

Stacey you were not just a officer you were my friend.
I will never forget you.
I will continue handing out the cold Gatorade to all your brother and sisters in uniform, just one less and that is the hard part.
As we pull in the the gas station I still look around to see if you have arrived yet and then I remember your last words.
See you both later on tonight.
Well as it turned out if I would have known that that was going to be the last words I would have said thank you for your service, but even more thanks for the friendship.

Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray:

“Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are Your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, loving family, friends, neighbors and caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name and for Your Glory, Amen.”

Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.

I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for over five years. Feel those prayers. God is with you; He knows and will ease your pain.

Our faith helps us to see beyond the grave.

To the Family of Sergeant Stacey Allen Baumgartner

Losing someone so close to us is very difficult. May all who are touched from the lost of Sergeant Baumgartner read Revelation 21:3-4. It is comforting to know that soon God will remove everything that cause tears of sorrow. Imagine death, pain and suffering will being done away. Only tears of joy when we welcome our loved ones back to a paradise earth. What a joy it will be to experience this promise very soon.

"The Final Inspection"
The policeman stood and faced his God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining.
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, policeman.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My church have you been true?"
The policeman squared his shoulders and said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't,
Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
and at times my talk was rough,
and sometimes I've been violent,
Because the streets are awfully tough.
But I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep....
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't.....I'll understand.
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod.
As the policeman waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, policeman,
You've borne your burdens well.
Come walk a beat on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in hell."
