Reflections for Police Officer Michael Jason Katherman
So sad to hear this news. Heart-broken once again. Although I am retired, my heart is always with my brothers and sisters who wear the badge. No matter if they are across the country or not, we care about each other. This is a job that we don't do for the money. Many times it's a "thankless" job and although we are expected to perform at a higher standard and always make the right decisions at a seconds notice...we are still HUMAN. My prayer is for comfort and healing for this officer's police family, his wife and children, and all those who knew and loved Officer Katherman. God Bless you my brother. Thank you for your 11 years of unselfish, dedicated service.
RIP Badge 3900.

Sadden to hear of this needless tragedy. May God watch over his family and fellow officers. Too many of our finest killed needlessly by unobservant drivers. Again my deepest regrets for this loss.
