The months of June and December are always hard for me because you and Holly left me just shy of a year apart in June. We celebrated our birthdays in roll call together in December on the second watch. You are the only partner I ever had who was able to handle my blunt honesty and serve it right back. I wish I could go back in time and tell you to stand down. I would back up Jackie instead. I miss you friend. Today your passing hurts like it happened yesterday. I hope you all are up there watching out for us like guardian angels. Wouldn't that be something, if when police officers passed, they became guardian angels.
