My condolences to this Sergents family and colleagues. As a former police explorer, when an officer goes down; no matter which department, it's like losing one of your own.

May the Lord watch over Sgt. Mingo's family, friends and his family in law enforcement. Sgt. Mingo has given the ultimate sacrifice and that is to help another person. That is the reason we have taken the oath of being in law enforcement. That is the reason we all stand with Sgt Mingo and the Officer he was going to assist. That is why we are part of the Thin Blue Line. The Thin Blue Line shares your sorrow but, will stand strong so you have someone to help you in this time of sorrow. May God's angles lift Sgt. Mingo up to heaven on their wings and be meet by the other hero's who have gone before him. He will be led up the steps by the angles. Officers in their Class A uniforms on the steps ,at attention with a sharp salute. They know a hero when they see one. Now go and and rest Sgt. Mingo, your job is done. EOW.
