I can't believe it's been 10 years already- still seems like yesterday. I was so blessed to have you as my big brother, my mentor, my protector, and my best friend, and I cherish every moment of our childhood, and growing up together. Your love and guidance always helped me throughout my life, and your wisdom and experience helped me along the hurdles in my life, and my career on this job. I know I could never be the amazing cop you were on this job, but I continue to do my best every day and honor your legacy, not only as an Officer, but as the amazing and selfless human being you are. I know you, Dad, Mom, and Grandma are all together in heaven pain free and at peace... smiling down upon us. Words can't express how terribly missed you are, and the pain of losing you is a heartache that never goes away. But, I know that one day we will all be together, so until we meet again, continue to rest in peace, and watch over me as I continue this journey on this job. Love and miss you - always.

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

It’s been 7 years today, since God took you into heaven, yet it seems like yesterday .Time seems to stand still when those we love are taken from us. I was truly blessed to have the best big brother, best friend, confidant, protector and hero. Your love for your fellow man, selflessness, courage, and strength saved countless lives that day and will always be remembered. Until we meet again, you will always be in my heart. “No day shall erase you from the memory of time”- Virgil. . Pat, my beloved brother-always loved, forever missed

My dear brother, every second of every day you are in my thoughts and heart. Time does not heal all wounds because the pain of losing you will never fade. I was blessed to have you as my big brother, my confidant, my best friend, and my hero. The world was blessed to have such a wonderful and dedicated hero, and there is a gaping hole in the fabric of the goodness in the world because you are no longer with us. I miss you more than words can express, but I know, as always, that you will forever have my back. Love you .
