Reflections for Corporal Jacai David Colson
"A Cop On The Take"
First he/she takes the Oath
Now look all He/She takes.
He/She takes it in stride when people call he/she pig
He/She takes time to talk to the children.
He/She takes your verbal abuse while giving you a ticket-
You really deserve.
He/She takes on creeps you would be afraid
To even look at.
He/She takes time away from his/her family
To keep you safe.
He/She takes your Injured children to the
Hospital.
He/She takes the graveyard shift without complaint
because it's his/ her turn.
He/She takes their life into their hands daily.
He/She takes you home when your car breaks down.
He/She takes time to explain why both your headlights
have to work.
He/She takes the job no one else wants telling you a
loved one has died.
He/She takes criminals to jail.
He/She takes in sights that would make you cry.
Sometimes,He/She cries too, but he/she takes it anyway
Because someone has too.
If he/she is lucky,he/she takes retirement.
He/She takes memories to bed each night
That you couldn't bear for one day.
Sometimes he/she takes a bullet.
They don't deserve.
And yes, occasionally he/she may take a free cup of
Coffee.
Than one day he/she pays for all he/she has
Taken,And God takes him/her home.
Now let's TAKE a moment and remember this fine Officer
In our prayers and thoughts.
RIP: Officer Colson we will never forget you.

Truly a another sad day in Law Enforcement. Thoughts and prayers to the family and the department.
We Remember the Officers
We remember the officers who changed our lives,
The men and woman who protected us day and night,
People who respect for their dedication to the cause,
For when faced with danger, they never even pause.
We remember the officers who always stood true,
Whatever the color of uniform, brown gray or blue,
With pride and integrity they say To serve and protect,
For the giving of their life, we offer our respect.
We remember the officers who we never really knew,
Persons strong enough to answer the challenge are few,
With heavy hearts we mourn the officers in eternal rest,
There's more to these people than the badge on their chest.
