Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Semper Fidelis, Officer Guindon. I am certain that if given the chance to have served a full tour, you would have been able to help many persons in need. Now, we can only remember your sacrifice to those you sought to help.

This absolutely makes my heart ache. I am a non sworn employee of a sheriff's office and I am absolutely sick when a life is lost in the line of duty. This is a tough time to be in law enforcement, but all I have to say is police lives matter too!!!
Stay safe and may God bless all my brothers and sisters who put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve.

I cannot express my sorrow enough for the loss of this young officer. I wish to express my sympathy to her family, fellow officers, U. S. Marine Reservists and many friends that knew and worked with her.
May she go in peace, may she never be forgotten!
This poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye is for her family and friends:
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there; I did not die.
