It takes a special person to do what we do. Not everyone can be a law enforcement officer. It saddens every officer who wears the uniform when one of the solders life is cut short. Fly with the angels Ashley, for you and all others will be remembered always. May your department stay strong and keep the faith. My thoughts and prayers go to your family and your department.
God bless the Peace Makers, for we shall protect all others risking life and limb.

I take it very personal and am very saddened when one of my brothers or sisters in uniform losses their life in the line of duty. Especially one so young. The fact that Ashley has served our country so well is a reflection on the great character and person she is and the family that raised her. No words can express the loss of one so young and so dedicated to her fellow man. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family.

Evil is no respecter of persons. Our hearts are saddened with the loss of an officer, especially at the start of her career. It is a stark reminder that even in training, there is no mercy for new officers, male or female, full-time, part-time or reserve, by those who wish harm upon us. Let this tragic loss harden our vigilance....

This is absolutely heartbreaking. This young officer had her entire career ahead of her.
Officer Guindon, you returned to a career in law enforcement at a very hostile time, fully knowing the dangers, but bravely took to the streets and confronted pure evil without question or hesitation. Bold, brave, selfless, and fearless your first day on the job. You are truly my hero. A true warrior fighting the good fight.
I never even knew you, but my eyes are filled with tears as I write this. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, co-workers, and friends at this horrific time. God bless you. Thank you for your dedicated service. Rest in peace sister.
