Sister Guindon,
You were not at the wrong place at the wrong time. You were right where you wanted to be and how you wanted to be, serving others while wearing the police uniform and gear. You answered the call, and sadly paid the ultimate price due a cowardly action of someone who could not face you one on one. We are proud of you serving others, as a Marine and as a Police Officer. Your physical loss is greatly felt among your family in blue but your legacy will be forever embedded in our hearts, our minds. As you see down on us, do watch over all those who will follow your steps because many will. You did your job well now rest in peace.

When the tone alert went over the radio and your unit number was called for the last time//////// we realize the great sacrifice you made for so many, that we may rest easy, but be ever vigilant and 'always faithful' (Semper Fi!).
Thank you Ashley for your service and sacrifice to this one Nation under God.

RIP Officer Guindon, May you rest in peace and in the glory of Our Lord. May your family be comforted in their loss.
This hits close to home as to the fact Ashley was from Merrimack NH just a few towns over from myself.
As to a fellow soldier, we all take pride in our service to this great country, but we morn as a whole when one of us tragically is loss in such a senseless way at the hands of a fellow soldier.
Ashley, your watch is over, rest in peace.

Rest in peace my sister. Though we never met and states separate us, you are my sister in blue. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
To your family: I know exactly the pain and anger you are experiencing right now. Never forget you are not alone in this. You have the largest family in the world beside you. Your blue family. We are all here for you and mourn with you. In 2014, I lost my Police Chief and best friend, Michael Pimentel. I know your pain.

Your dedication to the shield and upholding of all the good that's left in this country was apparent by your impressive background and intense repertoire. I know so many of your friends and colleagues who spoke so highly of your fortitude and devotion. Your service and your sacrifice shall never be forgotten. May this overwhelming loss open the eyes of a country that are both blinded and closed. Be at peace, your watch is over - we'll take it from here.

"I never dreamed it would be me.
The badge no longer on my chest.
My name for all eternity.
I sleep now in eternal rest,
Recorded here at this eternal place.
My sword I pass to those behind,
Alas my name, no more my face.
And pray they keep this thought in Mind.
"In the Line of Duty" I hear them say;
I never dreamed it would be me.
My family now the price will pay,
And with heavy heart and bended knee:
My folded flag stained with their tears.
I ask for all here from the past,
We only had those few short years.
Dear God, let my name be last!"

Well done thy good and faithful servant...rest easy...we have it from here!
