RETIRED DETECTIVE FRANK DEMARCO

Deputy Carrigan - Once again we shroud our badges here, in Colorado, absolutely incredulous that another part of the Thin Blue Line has been taken away so senselessly. By all accounts you were a good and decent man, who had the community's best interest, and its kids, as your primary interest. My prayers are with your family, both blood and blue. I pray for the recovery of Capt. Mark Hancock and Master Patrol Deputy Kolby Martin. No doubt the State of Colorado, the residents of Park County and our entire law enforcement community have lost a good and faithful servant.

May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

Sgt. Kieth Moreland

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

My condolences to the family of Corporal Nate Carrigan. Please remember God’s promise at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Please accept my deepest sympathies. May your household find peace and comfort in knowing sickness, pain and death will one day be gone and you will see your loved one again.

Nate,

I still remember, and always will remember, the ride-along you took me on when I was a brand new dispatcher in Park County nearly ten years ago. Your dedication to the community, and the positive impact you made on it, was obvious the first time I met you.

Your bravery and dedication are inspiring. Your legacy will never be forgotten.

Deputy Rob Dahlberg
Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office

Every hero truly makes a difference, and will be remembered by more than those who know them. God will reward Nate's sacrifice, and He will grant peace to those who mourn him.

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.
