To read of your death, Inspector Wood, teaches me a little history as well as informs me of your sacrifice. It's amazing how much of Mexico's history is closely tied to our own. It's truly tragic that that nation's history has directly effected the lives of so many good people on this side of the boarder.
Mounted Inspector Robert Wood, you lost your life in pursuit of justice and I thank you for the service to this nation and even after just about 100 years, I mourn you. I can only hope and pray that your descendants have kept your memory alive through a family history. You are a hero, after all.
God Bless and may your eternal Rest be ever peaceful, Brother.
