Policeman Suber, thank you for your service. In 1913 it was a rare thing being a University Cop and a still misunderstood job. You took that job never knowing what might come your way. I doubt you or anyone ever expected the risks you faced that day, all in the line of duty.
It's never easy to read the names of those who came before or those current officers who have given their lives, but when a member of our little community of 'campus cops' is taken, the reality of our job comes home all the more.
No doubt your descendants have kept your memory alive and have never forgotten you and thanks to this wonderful webpage, the rest of us know and we won't forget either.
God Bless and may your continued rest remain ever peaceful, Brother.
