Jaimie,
What I remember most is your smile... you were always sharing it with others and causing them to smile, too. Your energy and drive for this job left a mark, as well. You were so excited when you were accepted to attend Camp George West. While it's been a few years since you and I spoke, these are the things I will always remember about you.
Your precious daughter will always have a family in us, your DCSO Blue Family. May she always be taught what her Mama stood for, the loyalty and service to others you represented. Rest easy, Sister... we'll take The Watch from here.

Trooper Jursevics was a great person to work with. She was always smiling and had a positive attitude which I learned from her. She had good qualities and I knew she would do well in law enforcement. She had good family value's and was a great mother. She will be missed by all of her peers in blue. I send my prayers to her husbands family and Jamie's family. My prayers are with you. Thanks for all you have done.

On behalf of the Westerville, Ohio Division of Police, our thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family of Trooper Jaimie Jursevics and the extended law enforcement family of the Colorado State Patrol. Rest in Peace sister and watch over us.
I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
