David,
Thanks for the kind words about my Great Uncle. His Tombstone has been damaged by vandals, and I am in the process of replacing it. My Father was 6 years old when he died, and his Uncle inspired him to enter Law Enforcement on the Allegheny County Police.

We cannot fully honor our heroes of today without acknowledging and honoring our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 82nd anniversary year of your death.
Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
