Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff William J. Myers

How deepely sad this makes me feel. So many years of faithful service, then returning to faithfully serve his fellow man, only to be shot in the back by a coward. May his precious soul rest in perfect peace in the presence of the King of kings. May the Lord comfort his famiy and friends.

I just heard the tragic news this morning in VA. We served almost 35 years ago together in the USAF. I remember you as a mentor in the Air Force and how you transitioned your commitment to others into a 25+ year career of service for the residents of Okaloosa County. Relax in peace knowing the good Lord will maintain the same commitment of watch over your family and friends as you had over them.
