Rest Trooper Wolf. It pains me that you passed in such a horrific manner. I too worked in MI for 17yrs, I am now in AZ in my 22nd year total. In those years, far too many paid the ultimate price to keep others safe. As I read this tonight before my shift, the email before the news of your passing was a call for off-duty officers to show up in-mass at the murder trial for an officer (from my area) who was ambush-killed for what appears to have been a gang initiation. He too only had 7 years on the force. I pray for your wife and children, may they endure this hardship and loss of the their daddy, her husband, and protector of their home and family. For the family, may you always reach back to Chad's brothers and sisters in blue (and brown). We are from sea to shining sea and we are ALL here for you.

I prayed I never heard a Michigan LOE get called during roll call at the academy. This is the first time and it's somber as hell. I pray for the family and a reminder for all law enforcers that every day can be your last. Thank you for all you do. This job is unlike any other and the only solace I can give is that Trooper Wolf pledged giving his life to this great state of Michigan and the greatest country in the world, the United States of America. It was well worth it. R.I.P. Trooper Chad Wofl.

Carelessness took your life. We've all made mistakes, but few of us have taken a life. I hope that the person responsible for your untimely and tragic death will learn from the event. It may be the ONLY thing positive to come from your sacrifice.
So long as those who love you most keep you alive in their hearts and minds, you will never truly be gone from them. Though your entire family in Blue mourns your taking, we can never know the pain that those who know and love you best are experiencing. They are in our prayers, Brother.
God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace.
