I will always remember the utter silence that came over downtown as you were carried away in the ambulance; only the ticking of the flickering strobes of the ambulance could be heard. My brother past away from a fatal heart attack while on patrol. He also has a baby on the way and his wife is struggling with the fact of not having a husband to help with that. He was a officer with the Detroit PD and will be missed greatly.
