Chief, today I located your grave in section D-216 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Freedom, PA. I placed a NLEOMF marker on your grave and said a prayer, in your memory. God bless you, sir, for your dedication and sacrifice.

We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past, Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire.
Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Rest in Peace Chief Rader. Thank you for your service to this country and community, and for your sacrifice. You will never be forgotten. Your family, friends & department are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of deep sorrow. I understand that your assailant was known, and had fled to Michigan. I am sorry your case was dropped when there was no extradition at the time. Moreover, I am sorry that your case was forgotten for so long.
